“Under the Big, Blue Sea”

This book is geared toward beginner readers (around ages 4-8). It asks “What is under the sea” and then gives a different answer each time. It introduces the animal, and then gives a short description of it. It includes pictures of real animals which helps kids learn to associate the animal with it’s name. This book would be great to prepare your child for a trip to the aquarium!

One thing I love about this book is that if you have a young child with a short attention span (like my 13 month old), you can read the question and short answer (leaving the description out). This makes the book shorter and fun for young kids as well.
